Trafford College is another excellent example of the flexibility of ROBUST to provide steel doors specifically tailored to the architects' requirements, both physically and aesthetically.
ROBUST supplied large Fire Resistant Steel Doors for the fire partitions in a size that could not be fulfilled in traditional timber. To provide a clean, sharp corridor line, the doors were designed to seamlessly fit into wall pockets, and retained in position magnetically, making them virtually invisible when open.
The doors have special detailing to the vision panels and provide closure in case of fire. The door frames were manufactured and painted to match the aesthetics of the college.
ROBUST also supplied copper-clad doors to provide a special feature to the Administration offices at the college. The copper was overclad to a Fire Resistant Steel Door, therefore satisfying all regulatory and aesthetic requirements.
