Sandyford Community Fire Station

Sandyford Community Fire Station is a new, purpose-built fire station in Sandyford, Stoke-on-Trent.

How We Helped

ROBUST have supplied a number of our: ‘Secure by Design,’ approved doors to several of the new community fire stations for Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service, including Sandyford Community Fire Station.

‘Secure by Design,’ doors are self-closing doors which offer an internationally recognised level of resistance to burglary. They ensure that the station is never left insecure when crew members have to leave quickly to go to an emergency.

The doors feature flush door panels with security astragal anti-tamper stainless steel hinges, combining proven physical security, enhanced thermal U-values and an aesthetically appealing design.

The developer for this project was Staffordshire Fire and Rescue PFI, the architects were 3D Architects Ltd and the builder was Thomas Vale Construction Ltd.
