Main Purpose of Role:

To take deliveries of paint and powder and to spray and powder products in a timely manner whilst adhering to the following:
- To adhere to health and safety procedures and encourages others to do so.
- To adhere to quality procedures and a right first time, better every time mentality.
- To adhere to the production schedule and identifying and resolving potential issues.
- To reduce and eliminate scrap.

Key Tasks:

Promote a safe working environment
Ensure the production Schedule is adhered to
Report any faults/damage to the maintenance department
Check job paperwork and liaise with other departments
Monitor and maintain high quality standards
Liaise with the other team leaders on the shift
Identify training needs of the team and action this
Continuously monitor production and its staff and review with the production manager, advising of issues likely to affect production dates
Attend shift production meetings as required
Support the management team
Write a comprehensive handover for the shift
Lead the team by example by promoting a safe, clean and tidy working environment
Carry out Toolbox talks with the team
Fault free product
