The Development of our New World Class Manufacturing Site

This Autumn, we’re moving to a brand new state of the art £6 million pound production facility in Newcastle under Lyme in Staffordshire. This move is the fourth one in the Robust journey and it sees the business upgrade its facility and progress in its mission of continuing to be the leading manufacturer of steel door solutions. This relocation is part of its ambitious plans to grow by 50% by 2030.

    Robust Factory move is officially confirmed

  • April 2023

    New site keys acquired for Robust to start work

    New site was announced and the move from Sutherland Road in Longton, Stoke on Trent to Lymedale Park Business Park in Newcastle under Lyme became official.

    Plans for the new machinery are in place

    A New Trumpf, Punch and Night Train System.

  • May 2023

    Work Begins

    Robust UK are handed the keys to the new facility and we can start to transform the existing building into our new home. A Reinforced floor is required for the new machinery first.

  • June 2023

    MACHINERY INSTALLATION COMMENCES

    Machinery Installation Commences – Brand new machinery will be installed in the new factory. The first installation is the STOPA material tower which is part of the Trumpf punching machine.

    Trumpf punching machine tracks laid

    The Trumpf punching machine tracks are laid ready for installation.
