INDUSTRY LEADING EXTERNAL STEEL DOORS

OUTA-DOR sets the standard for external steel doors, with an industry leading specification, up to 10 years anti-corrosion guarantee and 5 year mechanical warranty. Available made-to-measure in a wide range of heights and widths to suit any requirement, OUTA-DOR can be tailored to you – making it the perfect addition to your project.

A £2m investment in new machinery has made the process of purchase and manufacture much quicker and has increased our overall capacity. This means less of a wait for your product, while maintaining the same high level of quality control and value for money.

Strong, Versatile & Cost Effective

Manufactured from corrosion resistant Magnelis© steel as standard, OUTA-DOR is well protected from the elements. We manufacture using 1.2mm Magnelis© steel sheets as standard, but this can be upgraded to 1.5mm or 2.0mm sheets to increase the toughness of the door skin.

The versatility of OUTA-DOR steel doorsets makes them suitable for use in a wide range of external applications – from schools & offices, to multi-storey car parks and supermarkets. The range of available sizes, panels, hardware, colours and pattern designs means OUTA-DOR is perfect for domestic, commercial and industrial settings.

All our doorsets are supplied fully assembled with hardware fitted, which, when combined with our adjustable fixing feet and variable sub-frame, drastically reduces the installation time on site – adding value to a project. The single fix design of our doors can offer great saving costs when priced against overall installation times for timber doors, and the inherent durability of steel means that in areas of high traffic or potential abuse, the ‘whole life’ cost of a steel doorset significantly outweighs that of a timber dooset.

Fire Doors & Panic Hardware

Fire Doors

OUTA-DOR is available as a fire rated doorset, available latched or unlatched in 3 fire resistance classifications: 60 mins, 120 mins and 240 mins. Sizes and hardware constraints vary between each classification. These are tested to EN 16034, allowing them to be CE marked as fire-resistant external doorsets.

Fire Exit Doors

We can fit OUTA-DOR steel doors with a range of panic hardware in order to comply with BS EN 1125 and BS EN 179. We can also fit outside access devices to provide practical, controlled and durable access to secure premises.

THERMAL ‘U’ VALUES

OUTA-DOR steel doors come with a self-supporting resin impregnated honeycomb core as standard. However, Mineral Wool, Polyurethane or Solid Timber infill cores are optionally available.

Depending on the door construction, infill values of 3.2 – 1.6 w/m²k are obtainable:

Vision Panels, Louvre Panels, and Side & Over Panels

Vision Panels

Louvre Panels

Side & Over Panels

To comply with Part M of the Building Regulations 2004, doors across circulation routes should have visibility glazing. OUTA-DOR can be fitted with a wide range of clear laminate vision panels, with custom sizes and glass types available to suit your specific requirements. Our vision panels are constructed from 1mm cold rolled steel, and screwed together from one side.

OUTA-DOR doorsets can also be fitted with a wide range of louvre panel options. Our standard louvre offers 50% air flow, with louvre blades constructed to stop birds gaining entry. Galvanised insect and fly mesh are also available as optional extras.

We offer a range of side panels and over panels for single and double doors. Panels can be solid, hinged, removable, flush, glazed or louvred depending on your specific requirements.

Frames

As all of our doors are made-to-measure, we have a variety of frame types available to suit your requirements. These include our standard OUTA-DOR frame – Type C – as well as optional frames Types A, B and D.

  • A frame allows the aperture to be finished with an architrave on the inside and outside of the opening.
  • B frame provides and architrave to either the internal or external face of the opening.
  • C frame is a standard 95mm deep single rebate frame for installation into brickwork or steel apertures.
  • D frame is a double rebate frame allowing the door to be installed into wider brickwork/blockwork structures, or to allow the frame to span a cavity.

All frames are supplied with adjustable fixing feet allowing the frame to be accurately installed – even in openings which are out of square. As standard, type C and D frames are supplied with a variable sub-frame to accommodate for a site tolerance of +/- 30mm. This ensures a quick, hassle-free installation.
