Secured by Design approved security louvred doors

Alongside our standard steel and aluminium louvred products, we also manufacture security rated louvred doors. Certified to PAS 24 and Secured by Design approved, TUFF-VENT offers maximum free airflow whilst maintaining strength and security. TUFF-VENT louvred doors are fully CE compliant to BS EN 14351-1 and can be Polyester Powder Coated in our standard range of colours.

Maximum airflow, maximum strength

TUFF-VENT louvred doors utilise a standard 2mm galvanised steel louvre vane throughout the construction of the door, welded at every junction for additional strength. This robustness enabled TUFF-VENT to be certified to PAS 24, earning this product Secured by Design accreditation – the official UK Police initiative to ‘design out crime’.

When calculated on a 1000mm x 2100mm over frame door, TUFF-VENT louvred doors achieve a free area of 55%. When based on the area of the louvres only, this equates to 72%.

TUFF-VENT is the perfect addition to any building housing important property that requires continuous ventilation – plant rooms, boiler rooms etc. Third-party security certification and Police accreditation give you peace-of-mind that your expensive machinery is safeguarded from tampering or vandalism.

Panel Arrangements

TUFF-VENT louvred doors are available with side and over panels, helping to make up openings where a larger door size may be impractical. Side panels are available up to 1100mm wide x 2500mm high. Over panels are available up to 2500mm (single doors) or 2200mm (double doors).

Panels can also be used to create ventilated enclosures. Please consult our sales office to discuss specific site requirements.

The TUFF-VENT grid is also available as a panel to fit into INNA-DOR, OUTA-DOR and SECUR-DOR 2. These are available in 2 standard sizes:

457mm x 457mm (offering approximately 0.15m² free area)

457mm x 1524mm (offering approximately 0.5m² free area)
