Robust supplied 50 steel doors for a variety of applications throughout the two NCP car parks and were specifically chosen due to their proven ability to provide for all the different requirements throughout a project.
In public buildings such as these, special consideration has to be given to all end users and doors must also comply with current legislation. The doors we supplied were designed to assist visually impaired users through the use of strong contrasting colours on the leading edge. A number of doors were fitted with automatic door operators and had magnetic locks to hold the doors open until required to close during a fire alarm to compartmentalise the building.
The doors were integrated into the fire protection strategy whilst offering excellent perimeter security. A number of our doors were also incorporated into the car park’s access control system.
