Robust UK Doors At The Home Of Scottish Football

Hampden Park is the home of Scottish football.

It hosts Scotland’s home games, seating more than 50,000 fans and back in 2014 it even hosted the Commonwealth Games.

As such, we’re proud to have partnered with Door Systems Scotland to install doors at this iconic and historic stadium.

As part of the project, Door Systems Scotland were replacing the windows at the venue and needed to install two double sets of Robust UK products – to allow disabled access to the main stand.

The Robust UK GLAS-DOR glazed door is a fire-resistant steel profile system with a core of fire resistant insulation. Tested to PAS 24, GLAS-DOR combines both fire and security resistance.

It is designed to be used in offices, shopping centres, airports, hotels, hospitals, schools and other public buildings, which meant it was the ideal solution for the Hampden Park installation project.

Richy, Managing Director at Door Systems Scotland said:

“The project went extremely well and the doors were fitted and finished perfectly. They look fantastic at Hampden Park.

He added: “It was a real privilege to be able to provide GLAS-DOR for use on this project. It’s fantastic to see our installations have such a wide reach across the UK, especially in such an iconic venue like Hampden Park.”

Area Sales Manager Carol Carroll led on the project on behalf of Robust UK. She said:

“It’s been fantastic working with both Door Systems Scotland and Hampden Park on this project, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The length and breadth of our products is far and wide and we feel really privileged to have our product fitted in such a famous venue that means so much to so many people.”

At Robust UK, we provide steel security doors for use in a wide range of venues, from offices and factories to public buildings, high profile venues and government buildings.
