Whether it’s a local rugby clubhouse run by volunteers, a community leisure centre, or a national stadium, sports and leisure venues place unique demands on their buildings. High visitor numbers, heavy daily use, and the need for safety, security, and comfort all mean that door solutions must do more than just open and close.

We’ve Got it Covered.
At Robust UK, our doors are trusted across the sporting spectrum — from football and cricket grounds to golf clubs, gyms, and indoor courts — helping operators create safe, accessible, and welcoming environments for players, fans, and staff alike.

Front of House & Hospitality
First impressions matter. Reception areas, concourses, and hospitality suites need doors that combine durability with a warm, welcoming appearance.
GLAS-DOR partitions, glazed and sliding doors flood lobbies and lounges with natural light while offering up to 90 minutes of fire resistance and insulation, plus an acoustic reduction of up to 45dB.
- OUTA-DOR THERM keeps draughts out and energy bills down at main and rear entrances, achieving U-values as low as 1.3W/(m²K), or 1.5W/(m²K) if combining with 60 minutes fire rating.
- Our standard finish is powder coating in any colour of your choice, matching to club colours or to complement high-end hospitality interiors. Realistic timber-effects are also available on request.
Changing Facilities & Indoor Halls
Changing rooms, gyms, and indoor sports halls demand robust, practical solutions. Doors must withstand constant use, cleaning, and sometimes impact from equipment.
INNA-DOR and OUTA-DOR are both available fire-rated up to 4 hours, making either product ideal for use throughout the building such as in changing rooms and corridors. INNA-DOR is also smoke rated to BS EN1634-3.
For sports halls, our ACTIV-DOR rebound panel doors prevent injury from protruding hardware in line with Sport England guidance, while acoustic ratings of up to 36dB help reduce echo and noise, and a thermal transference value as low as 1.3W/(m²K) goes beyond building regulation requirements.
We can manufacture our doorsets from stainless steel for swimming pools or wet leisure areas, offering superior resistance to moisture and cleaning chemicals.

Spectator & Concourse Areas
With it’s security credentials (RC2 to RC4), acoustic reduction properties and sleek aesthetics, GLAS-DOR is the perfect solution for doors, windows, screens and facades in hospitality areas.
For emergency exit purposes, we can supply our INNA-DOR, OUTA-DOR and security rated TUFF-DOR and SECUR-DOR 2.1 products with panic hardware, ticking several performance properties with just one product.
To ensure facilities are inclusive for all visitors, 6mm thresholds and wide-frame designs support compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), along with robust 17mm double glazing for vision panels.
Back-of-House & Service Areas
Behind the scenes, security and practicality are the top priorities. From equipment stores to plant rooms, these areas must be safe and efficient without distracting from the customer experience.
TUFF-DOR offers certified resistance up to SR4 for securing equipment stores, offices, and cash-handling areas, whilst VENT-DOR and TUFF-VENT provide essential airflow for boiler rooms and plant areas, while preventing tampering or intrusion. TUFF-VENT is PAS 24 certified and Secured by Design approved for maximum strength, security and airflow.
For staff-only and access controlled areas we provide a broad choice of locking options within our hardware selection. Alternatively, we can supply doors fully prepared for integration with electronic access control systems already in use on the premises – from coded keypads to swipe card entry.

Finishes & Durability
We offer unrivalled anti-corrosion warranties of up to 10 years for products that are manufactured from Magnelis® steel, ensuring long term performance and peace of mind.
In addition, our doors include a polyester powder coated finish in the shade of your choice from our selection of over 50 standard colours, with non-standard RAL or BS colours available on request.
We understand that each sports facility has its own identity, and as such we can finish doors in different colours to each side, frames in a contrasting colour, and aperture trims can be coloured to blend in or stand out – all depending on your preference. Colour coding doorsets depending on the building area/zone is also useful in large or multi-level buildings and stadiums, enabling wayfinding and zoning for visitors and to distinguish between spectator entrances, staff-only areas, and emergency exits.
We can also provide steel doors in a timber-effect finish to combine the beauty of timber with the durability of steel – particularly popular for providing a warmer aesthetic in staff and changing areas, bars, cafes and hospitality zones.
