- TUFF-DOR – our LPS 1175 certified doorset range – offers tested resistance to attack, certified to SR2, SR3 or SR4, protecting against intrusion attempts.
- SECUR-DOR 2.1 – PAS 24 certified and Secured by Design accredited – ensures compliance with key security frameworks, including those aligned with ISO 27001 requirements for physical access control.
- TUFF-VENT – a PAS 24 certified fully louvred doorset – combines secure airflow with protection, ideal for plant rooms, cooling equipment enclosures, and server rooms requiring both ventilation and security.
Fire Safety
Fire presents one of the most significant risks to data centres and server rooms. Robust UK’s fire-rated solutions ensure that flames and smoke are contained, providing critical time to protect equipment and maintain business continuity.
- INNA-DOR and OUTA-DOR provide fire resistance up to 4 hours, containing the spread of fire within critical infrastructure buildings and supporting compliance with UK Building Regulations (Approved Document B).
- Where both security and fire resistance are required, TUFF-DOR 2.1 and SECUR-DOR 2.1 can be specified with a 60-minute fire rating (subject to specification).
By slowing the spread of fire, these doors safeguard critical equipment and reduce potential downtime and financial loss.
Climate Control & Energy Efficiency
Maintaining a stable, controlled climate is essential in digital infrastructure environments to prevent overheating of sensitive equipment.
- OUTA-DOR THERM reduces thermal transference and improves energy efficiency, achieving U-values as low as 1.3W/(m²K).
- If 60 minutes fire rating is also required, our 1.5W/(m²K) solution ticks both boxes; available in both single and double doorsets, with vision panels if required.
- Exceeding the requirements of Part L of the UK Building Regulations (1.6W/(m²K) in England & Wales and 1.4W/(m²K) in Scotland), OUTA-DOR THERM supports operational efficiency and reduces cooling costs in data centres.
Ventilation Solutions
Effective airflow management is critical in server rooms and data centres to maintain consistent performance and prevent system failures. Robust UK offers two fully louvred solutions:
VENT-DOR – aluminium doorsets providing effective ventilation in standard applications.
TUFF-VENT – where ventilation must be combined with high security, offering PAS 24 certification and robust construction with full length vertical stiffeners to resist tampering.
Both options can be supplied with a variety of meshes to protect against pests while allowing maximum airflow.
Where less extensive ventilation is required, we can add louvred panels to OUTA-DOR and INNA-DOR leaves, including some fire rated and THERM solutions. And for those applications that demand enhanced security, SECUR-DOR 2.1 (fire rated and non-fire rated) and TUFF-DOR 2.1 (non-fire rated only) can also include louvre panels if required.
Finishes & Durability
Digital infrastructure environments often operate around the clock, requiring durable, low-maintenance solutions. Robust UK offers a polyester powder coated finish as standard from a choice of over 50 colours, with non-standard RAL or BS options available on request to meet corporate branding or specification requirements.
Up to 10 years anti-corrosion warranty is available for doorsets manufactured from Magnelis®, guaranteeing long-lasting performance, low maintenance, and minimal downtime,
In areas exposed to high humidity or specialist cooling systems, stainless steel doorsets offer additional resistance to corrosion, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
