Robust UK has launched a newly designed security drop bar, offering improved usability and enhanced protection for perimeter doors.
The security drop bar system secures the door leaf against the frame using bolted brackets, helping to resist tampering and forced entry from the outside. Dual drop bar configurations are also available for increased door security and protection in higher-risk environments.
The new design is more compact and slimmer, providing a sleeker appearance while eliminating the need for separate padlocks. For added convenience, multiple locking points can be operated using a single key.
Designed with versatility and cost efficiency in mind, the steel drop bar can be retrofitted to existing doors without the need for a full door replacement. It can also be installed on single, double and leaf-and-a-half steel doorsets, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial and infrastructure applications.
A wall-mounted support bracket is available on request, allowing the drop bar to be safely stored when not in use. This reduces trip hazards, minimises the risk of damage and prevents obstruction around the doorway.
The drop bar is powder-coated yellow as standard, but both the drop bar and support bracket can be colour-matched to existing doors, ensuring a consistent appearance while enhancing security.
