Robust UK has added a fire-rated and smoke-tested double doorset option to its RISER-DOR range.
Available with up to one hour of fire resistance, the double doorset option complements the existing single doorset, which provides up to 120 minutes’ fire resistance. Both single and double RISER-DOR doorsets have also been independently smoke-tested to BS EN 1634-3.
Designed for vertical service shafts housing essential building services such as electrical wiring, plumbing and HVAC systems, RISER-DOR helps maintain compartmentation while providing quick and discreet access when required.
Fire-rated to E120 for single doorsets and E60 for double doorsets, RISER-DOR provides bi-directional fire performance, helping to contain fire within the shaft while also preventing flames from entering the opening. This helps protect essential building services, maintain the integrity of the service shaft and support safer evacuation routes, in line with the requirements of Approved Document B.

Manufactured from Magnelis® steel, RISER-DOR offers enhanced corrosion resistance and is available with a warranty of up to 10 years. Its self-healing protective layer helps protect cut edges from corrosion, supporting long-term durability and product performance.
RISER-DOR is designed to provide a clean, modern appearance, sitting flush within the wall with concealed pivot hinges, concealed frames and minimal visible hardware. A three-point locking system, operated using a T-bar key, provides secure and practical access to the service shaft.
As with all Robust UK doors, RISER-DOR is made to order to suit individual project requirements. Doorsets can be polyester powder-coated as standard in any colour to complement the surrounding interior.
The addition of the fire-rated and smoke-tested double doorset further extends the versatility of RISER-DOR, making it a suitable solution for commercial, educational and industrial buildings where discreet access to essential services must be combined with robust fire and smoke protection.
